Rainfall
Heavy rainfall of between 100 – 200 mm was observed in western part of Ethiopia.
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in parts of northwestern and western Ethiopia, in southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of northern, central, western and eastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in parts of central parts of Sudan, in parts of western Eritrea, in eastern margins of central and northern Ethiopia, in southwestern Uganda, in southeastern Somalia, and in central and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern and central parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northeastern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in much of Somalia, in northern, eastern and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in southern western Ethiopia, in parts of western and southern Sudan, in western parts of South Sudan, in several parts of northern, western, central and eastern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in central Eritrea, in northern and central parts of Ethiopia, in northwestern Somalia, in parts of southwestern and coastal Kenya, and in coastal parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in northern and central parts of Sudan, in costal Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in several parts of Somalia, in northeastern, eastern, and southern Ethiopia, in much of northern, eastern and southern Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in much of Tanzania.
