Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in western and southwestern parts of Uganda, in part of central Kenya, in much of Rwanda, in eastern and western parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, western and in northern coast of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in southwestern part of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in western, central and southeastern parts of Kenya, in eastern part of Rwanda, in several parts of Burundi, and in parts of northwestern, western, southwestern and eastern Tanzania.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the western and southern parts of South Sudan, in southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in eastern and northeastern parts of Uganda, in eastern and south-central parts of Kenya, in southwestern Somalia, and in north-central and central parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, in northern and central parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Ethiopia, in norther, central and parts of southern Somalia, in norther northern parts of Kenya, and in central and southeastern parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southwestern parts of South Sudan, in northcentral and southwestern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda, and in western Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in western parts of Eritrea, in northern and western parts of Ethiopia, in northern and southern parts of Uganda, in eastern Rwanda, in a few parts of eastern and western Burundi, in northern, western, and northeastern part of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in northern and central parts of South Sudan, in western Eritrea, in parts of northwestern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in northern and central parts of Somalia, and in northwestern parts of Kenya.
Drier than usual conditions were observed over southeastern part of South Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of Kenya, in southwestern parts of Uganda, in western Burundi, and in much of northeastern, central and southeastern Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in south-western parts of South Sudan, western parts of Rwanda, and in a few areas in western Tanzania.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in the southern parts of Ethiopia, southern Somalia, eastern and central parts of Kenya, several parts of Burundi, parts of north east, central and south-eastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions much of the rest of the region including Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, north and central Somalia, northern and central parts of Sudan, parts of north-western and eastern Ethiopia, northern and central parts of Somalia, and north-western parts of Kenya.
