Rainfall
Heavy rainfall exceeding 200mm was observed in parts of eastern Kenya.
Heavy rainfall of between 51-200 mm was observed in southwestern parts of South Sudan, in western and southern parts of Uganda, in western, central, southern, coastal, and southeastern Kenya, in southern part of Somalia, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern, western and northern coast of Tanzania
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 50 mm was observed in western, central and southern parts of South Sudan, in southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of southern Somalia, in northeastern Uganda, parts of northern Kenya, and in central and southern parts of Tanzania
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in western and southern parts of South Sudan. In southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of Somalia, in northeastern Uganda, in northern parts of Kenya, and in northeastern, central, southwestern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, in northern and parts of central Somalia, in northern parts of South Sudan, and in parts of northwestern Kenya.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in western, central, eastern and southern parts of South Sudan, in parts of western, central and southeastern Uganda, in southwestern, central and southeastern parts of Kenya, in southern and parts of eastern Somalia, in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry conditions were observed in the southern parts of Ethiopia and in part of eastern Uganda.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in western, central and southeastern part of South Sudan, in central Eritrea, in western and southern parts of Uganda, in southwestern, central, southeastern and coastal parts of Kenya, in southern and east-central parts of Somalia, in western and eastern parts of Rwanda, in southern parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, western and northern coast of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern Eritrea. In several parts of Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, in eastern Uganda, in northern and northwestern parts of Kenya, in central-western and southwestern parts of Somalia, and in north-central, central and southern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in western parts of Eritrea, in northern Somalia, in northeastern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in northern parts of South Sudan, and in part of northwestern Kenya,
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
