Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall (between 100-200 mm) observed over highlands of western Kenya and south-eastern Uganda
- Moderate rainfall (between 50-100 mm) observed in northwestern and costal parts of Tanzania, everywhere in Burundi, southern Rwanda, central and western Kenya, southeastern parts of South Sudan, southwestern Ethiopia, central and eastern Uganda
- Light rainfall (between 25-50 mm) observed in most parts of Uganda, southern parts of South Sudan, eastern and northern Tanzania, northern parts of Rwanda
- Rainfall range between 5-25 mm observed over most parts of southern and north-eastern Tanzania, lower and upper eastern Kenya, south-western and isolated areas in Ethiopia, north-eastern and north-western Somalia, red sea costal parts of Eritrea, Sudan, and Djibouti
- Dry conditions (usual this time of season) almost everywhere in Sudan, central and northern parts of South Sudan, north-western Eritrea, western Djibouti, northern and central Somalia, central and north-western Ethiopia
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over coastal parts of northern Somalia and Eritrea, south-western Ethiopia, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, western Kenya, south-eastern Uganda, and isolated areas in central Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in northern Burundi, central Tanzania, and northern Somalia and Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in sporadic areas in central and northern Tanzania, western and south-western Uganda, central and southern coast of Kenya, southern parts of Burundi, and most parts of Rwanda.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of southern Tanzania, southern, eastern, and north-eastern Kenya, western parts of South Sudan southern Somalia.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over southern Tanzania, isolated areas over southern Somali, eastern and northern Kenya, and south-western parts of South Sudan.
- Moderately to severely wet conditions observed over Red Sea coastal parts of Eritrea and Sudan, costal parts of northern Somalia, south and southeastern South Sudan, southeastern and northern Uganda, western Kenya, isolated areas in central and northern Tanzania
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of Tanzania and Rwanda, southwestern Uganda, isolated areas in central and southeastern Kenya.
