Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and southeastern Uganda, and in a few parts in western Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the central to eastern parts of Sudan, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia and in southern and eastern margins of western and central Ethiopia, in southeastern parts of South Sudan, in northeastern, western and southern parts of Uganda, and in western and coastal parts of Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern parts of Sudan, in the coastal, central and southern parts of Eritrea, northern and coastal parts of Djibouti, in much of Somalia, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern parts of Uganda, in northern, eastern, central and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in a central and eastern, Sudan, and in northwestern Eritrea.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in western and southeastern Sudan, in southern parts of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, in much of central and southern parts of South Sudan, in northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of Uganda and Rwanda, in western Burundi, and in western and central parts of Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern an central parts of Eritrea, in northern and western parts of South Sudan, and in a few areas in western Ethiopia, southeastern Uganda and coastal Kenya.
No rainfall conditions were observed in the northern parts of Sudan, in coastal Djibouti, in several parts of Somalia, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and southern parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, and in much of Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in southwestern and southeastern parts of Sudan, in northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in several parts of Ethiopia, in western, central and southern parts of South Sudan, in much of Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda, and in western parts of Kenya
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in western parts of Sudan, and in northwestern parts of Eritrea.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
