Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall between 51 - 200 mm was observed in parts of western Kenya, in much of Burundi and Tanzania, and in the areas of northwest, northern, southern and southeastern shores of Lake Victoria.
Moderate rainfall between 26 - 50 mm was observed in several parts of Rwanda, in southern and southwestern Uganda, in parts of western Kenya, and in parts of northwest and northern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in northern coast and central parts of Eritrea, in southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in western, central and eastern Uganda, and in central and southeastern Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, in several parts of Ethiopia, South Sudan and Somalia, in norther Uganda, in much of northern and eastern Kenya.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southeastern and eastern parts of Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, in central Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in parts of coastal and southern Eritrea, in parts of eastern and coastal Djibouti, in a few Isolated parts of central Ethiopia, in western and southwestern Uganda, in much of Rwanda, in parts of northern and southern Burundi, and in a few areas in northwestern, western and southern Tanzania
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of northern, western, and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in parts of northwestern and eastern Kenya, and in parts of northwestern Uganda.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in central and southern Ethiopia, in southern South Sudan, in several parts of Kenya, in southern parts of Somalia, and in northern parts of Uganda.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of the southeastern and eastern Uganda, in western parts of Kenya, in central and eastern Burundi, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in some parts of southern South Sudan, northwestern parts of Uganda, in southeastern Kenya, and in parts of southern Somalia.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region including Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, in several parts of Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya, in northern and southern Burundi, and in some parts of northwest and southern Tanzania.
