Rainfall
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over northern Somali, Somali region of Ethiopia, north-eastern Kenya, south-western Uganda, everywhere in Rwanda, Burundi, and most parts of Tanzania.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the highlands of western and coastal parts of Kenya, southern Somalia, eastern and northern Uganda, eastern Ethiopia, most parts of Ethiopia, southern Eritrea, and northern parts of Sudan.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in the central Equatoria region of South Sudan, most parts of the White Nile state, and central parts of Sudan.
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in most parts of South Sudan, Kordofan and Darfour region of Sudan, western and northern parts of Ethiopia, and Eritrea.
- Heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in northern and north-western parts of South Sudan and the highlands of northern Ethiopia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed over north-western and north-eastern Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed over most parts of western and central parts of Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions are observed in most parts of South Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and southern Somalia.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed over eastern Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, central Ethiopia, most parts of central and highlands of Kenya, and eastern and northern Uganda.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed in the central and Lake Victoria sites of Uganda.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed over western and eastern Sudan, most parts of Eritrea, north-eastern Ethiopia, and south-eastern South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over the White Nile parts of Sudan, and northern parts of South Sudan.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over central Ethiopia, eastern Sudan; Equatoria region, and south-eastern Upper Nile region of South Sudan; most parts of Uganda, and highlands of western Kenya.
