Heavy rainfall between 100-200mm was observed in a northwestern, and western part of Ethiopia, and in a few areas in southwestern Sudan and northwestern South Sudan.

Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, over several parts of South Sudan, in western parts of Eritrea, in the northwestern part of Uganda and in part of western Kenya.

Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in the some parts of western, south-central and eastern Sudan, in central parts of Ethiopia, over much of central and northern Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya.

Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in central parts of Sudan, in northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in central parts of Eritrea, several parts of Djibouti, in southeastern part of Somalia, in southern parts of Uganda, in central and coastal parts of Kenya, western Rwanda, northwest Burundi, and in the northern coast of Tanzania.

Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed northern Sudan, in southern and coastal parts of Eritrea, in coastal Djibouti, southern and eastern Ethiopia, northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in much of northern, eastern and southern Kenya, in parts of southwestern Uganda, in eastern Rwanda, in eastern and southern Burundi, and in much of the rest of Tanzania.

Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in western, eastern and southwestern parts of Sudan, in parts of western and central Eritrea, over several parts of Djibouti, in parts of northwestern and northern Ethiopia, and in some isolated parts in north-central to southeastern South Sudan, in some part of western Kenya and in central part of Uganda.

Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in southern, and southwestern part of Eritrea, in parts of northern and western Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in northwestern, central and southeastern Uganda, in parts of western and coastal Kenya, and in parts of southwestern Somalia.

Drier and much drier than usual conditions were observed over parts of central Sudan, southern parts of South Sudan, central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern and southwestern Uganda, over parts of northwestern and central Kenya, in southeastern parts of Somalia and in parts of northwestern Tanzania.

No rainfall conditions were observed in northern parts of Sudan, southeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and central Somalia, in northern, eastern and south-central parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, and much of the rest of Tanzania.

Moderately to severely wet rainfall conditions were observed in western, southwestern and eastern Sudan, parts of western and central Eritrea, in northwestern and western Ethiopia, in parts of north-central and eastern South Sudan, and in a few isolated areas in southwestern South Sudan, in parts of northwestern, central and southeastern Uganda, and part of western Kenya.

Usual rainfall conditions were observed over several areas in southern parts of Sudan, in much of western and southwestern Ethiopia, southern parts of Somalia, in much of northern and central South Sudan, in parts of western and southwestern Uganda, in western and coastal parts of Kenya, and in several parts of Rwanda.

Moderately to severely dry rainfall conditions were observed in central Sudan, in central Ethiopia, in southeastern Somalia, in northeastern and southwestern Uganda, in northwestern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in part of northwestern Tanzania.
