Rainfall
- Moderate to heavy rainfall (between 100 - 200 mm) observed in isolated areas in southern Tanzania.
- Moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in highlands of western Kenya, south-western Burundi and Rwanda, southern and north-western, and Lake Victoria basin of Tanzania.
- Light rainfall (between 25 - 50 mm) observed in central and north-eastern Tanzania, northern Burundi, central and northern Rwanda, most parts of Uganda, south-western South Sudan, highland of central Ethiopia.
- Rainfall range (between 5 - 25 mm) observed over south-western South Sudan, most parts of central and western Ethiopia, central and western Kenya, north-western Uganda.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, central and northern parts of South Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, most parts of Eritrea, eastern parts of Kenya, south-eastern and north-western Ethiopia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed in eastern parts of South Sudan, isolated areas in southern and northern parts of Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in most parts of western parts of South Sudan, northern Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over central south Sudan, central Ethiopia, most parts of southern, central, and north-eastern Uganda, western Rwanda, south-western Burundi, most parts of southern, western, and northern Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of central Tanzania, northern Burundi, eastern and northeastern parts of Rwanda, western and northwestern Uganda, most parts of Kenya, southeastern South Sudan, most parts of Ethiopia.

- Moderately wetter to severely wettest than usual conditions observed in eastern parts of South Sudan, isolated areas in southern and northern Tanzania.
