Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall (between 100-200 mm) was recorded in parts of southwest and southeast Tanzania.
- Moderate rainfall (between 50-100 mm) observed in most southern parts of Burundi, central and southwestern parts of Tanzania.
- Light rainfall (between 25-50 mm) observed in most parts of north, western Tanzania, northern Burundi, and around the Lake Victoria Basin.
- Rainfall range between 5-25 mm observed several parts of Rwanda, central Kenya, central and southwestern Uganda and over a few parts of southern Ethiopia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) observed in much of Sudan, southern Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, northern Uganda and northern and eastern Kenya.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over southeast Tanzania and south-central Uganda.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in southwestern Tanzania, over much of Lake Victoria peripheral, and in central Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in southwest Uganda, eastern and central Rwanda, western parts of Kenya, southern Burundi, and much of northwest and central Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in central to southwest Ethiopia, over much of central and southern Kenya, and eastern parts of Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over isolated areas southeast Kenya and northeastern Tanzania.
- Moderately wetter to severely wettest than usual conditions observed over a few areas in southeast and southwest Tanzania, and in southern parts of Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over central to southwest Ethiopia, much of north and western Uganda, much of Kenya, souther Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, and northern and central Tanzania.
- Moderately drier to severely driest than usual conditions observed in western and southern part of Tanzania.
