Rainfall
Heavy rainfall exceeding 100mm was observed in a few areas in western Ethiopia and northwestern South Sudan.
Moderate rainfall between 500 - 1000 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in much of northern, western eastern and southwestern South Sudan, in northwestern part of Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall between 200 - 500 mm was in western, southern and eastern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in central parts of Ethiopia, in southeastern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in northwestern Rwanda, and in parts of western Kenya
Rainfall between 10 - 200 mm was observed in western, central and eastern parts of Sudan in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in coastal parts of Djibouti, in northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in northeastern, and southern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern, northeastern and coastal Kenya, in southern and eastern Rwanda, south-central Uganda, and in northwestern parts and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) were observed in northern parts of Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, in northern and central parts of Somalia, in northern, eastern and central parts of Kenya, and in several parts of western, northern, central and southern Tanzania
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in western, central and eastern parts of Sudan, in northwestern and central parts of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, in much of Rwanda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in several parts of southern part of Sudan, in southwestern part of Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in much of north, western and central Ethiopia, in much of Uganda, northern Burundi, and parts of western and central Kenya,
