Join us as we officially launch the IGAD Regional Focus of the 2025 Global Report on Food Crises on 19 September 2025 from 9:00 AM-12:30 PM (EAT).
The report provides a detailed assessment of acute food insecurity and malnutrition in IGAD member states, as well as trends over time, key drivers and populations of highest concern. It also presents the most recent data and information on forcibly displaced populations.
The launch event will bring together leaders and representatives from IGAD member states, along with development and technical partners – including UN agencies, NGOs, civil society, research organisations and the media.
